Rawai Beach in Phuket, Thailand
Rawai Beach in Phuket was famous with seafood, most of the tourists will come here after the day trip at Phuket. There has a market which is selling the freshest seafood and opposite of it you can see a lot of shops provide cooking service, that’s not expensive, it’s worth to try and very delicious.
Normally people come here for the seafood, but not me, I come here for photo shooting. I found that here was the best point for sunrise, because of the bridge, it also called Rawai Landing Pier. The direction of this Rawai beach was face to the southeast, but this bridge was built extend to the sea, on this bridge can easily view sunrise without any block. It’s very convenient for me to set up my tripod and camera, and this bridge gives me a lot of foreground, so that the sunrise will not look so dull.
I arrived here around 5:45am, but on this bridge already have so many people woke up early that me, they are having exercise, jogging, yoga and also fishing here. I found that only me was coming here for photographing, it was so ridiculous, anywhere I don’t care about it. The sea was getting low tide at dawn, there have a lot of long tail boat stranded on the beach, the fisherman already started to prepare and waiting for the water resurgence, it doesn’t wait long time, around 6:20am most of the long tail boat was gone.
I am really enjoying to the sunrise and non-stop pressing camera shutter from dawn to morning. At dawn, people were called golden hour, the day break light was amazingly beautiful, very impressive. The moment of the sun just rises, I really feel that a day is starting now, it’s another challenging day is staring now, look like a signal to begin everything.
