James Bond Island - Phang Nga Bay

Why it calling James Bond Island? Sure, that was related to the James Bond movie, The Man with the Golden Gun publication in 1974. Ever since, it was inevitably becoming famous throughout Thailand and the world. This island is a small limestone cliff, vertical stand on the sea with 20 metres high. Its diameter ranging in the top around 8 metres and bottom around 4 metres. Before it calls James Bond Island, the original name is Koh Tapu or Nail Island, and it stands out in the middle of the bay of Koh Khao Ping Kan.

The James Bond Island not only Koh Tapu or Nail Island, it’s also included Khao Ping Kan Island. It’s consists of two forest-covered islands with steep shores. This island famous with it’s spectacular natural hills leaning against each other, also the meaning of this island name.

I’m curious, how it forms, why it becomes like this, what makes it? I have no idea about that, try looking at the incision, seem cut by something very sharp with very fast speed. I have no idea that was a human being or made by god, but is was impressive, I really want to know about that. If you have the answer, please leave me a comment and telling me.
